General Conditions for Online Sales

Order acceptance

Citadelle Maple Syrup Producers’ Cooperative reserves the right to reject, without notice, any order from any country other than Canada or the United States, even if the consumer receives an acknowledgement of receipt of order.

Payment methods

Délices Érable & Cie will accept payments made online via PayPal or by Visa or MasterCard via its website boutique.deliceserableetcie.com.

Price policy

For each item ordered, the price billed to the consumer corresponds to the price that appears on the Citadelle website.

Shipping and handling fees, customs duties, export fees for shipping outside of Canada, and taxes applicable to the sale of products ordered via the Citadelle website are not included in listed prices.

The prices listed on the website boutique.deliceserableetcie.com are in Canadian dollars.

Citadelle reserves the right to modify the prices listed on its website at any time without notice.

Product delivery

All products ordered via the website boutique.deliceserableetcie.com will be delivered to the addresses indicated by consumers when they order.

The delivery method and choice of carrier are at the entire discretion of Citadelle.

Delivery times and charges may vary depending on the destination and availability of products ordered. Delivery times are estimated from the time products leave the Citadelle Distribution Center.

Citadelle may not be held liable for damage resulting from product loss or breakage during shipping.

Product returns

1. Citadelle will not issue any refunds. Products returned in accordance with the terms and conditions below will be replaced.
2. All product returns must first be authorized. Authorization requests must be sent to Citadelle by email within twenty-four (24) hours of product delivery. Products being returned must be sent to Citadelle within five (5) days of receipt of authorization and must be accompanied by a copy of the bill, the online order number, and the authorization number.

Product availability

Citadelle cannot guarantee the availability of products ordered online via its website boutique.deliceserableetcie.com. If Citadelle is unable to delivery any product ordered because it is out of stock, you will be notified by email.

Citadelle may not be held liable for any harm or damage suffered by consumers when products are out of stock.

Applicable laws

Any transaction made through Citadelle’s website boutique.deliceserableetcie.com or any dispute that may arise between a consumer and Citadelle is governed by the laws in effect in the Province of Quebec, Canada. For the purposes of these conditions, the parties agree to elect domicile in the judicial district of Arthabaska, Province of Quebec, Canada.
