- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)
- With electric mixer, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Blend in sugar and beat another minute or two.
- Blend in grated coconut and cranberries by folding preparation with a spatula
- Peel pears and cut them in half. Remove cores and place halves in cooking dish.
- Fill each pear cavity with the preparation. Bake in oven for 20 minutes.
- Top with maple caramel and serve
