Melon and Prosciutto Crostini with Maple Jelly

Ingredients

  • 6 slices of prosciutto
  • ½ small cantaloupe
  • Fresh parmesan cheese, shaved into curls (about 25 g)
  • 7 mL (1 1/2 tsp) maple jelly
  • 12 thin baguette slices, toasted
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Directions

  1. Spread maple jelly on slices of toasted bread (approximately 1/4 tsp per slice)
  2. Place ½ slice of prosciutto and 1 or 2 pieces of cantaloupe on each slice
  3. Top with curls of parmesan and black pepper
  4. Serve
