Grilled Vegetables in Maple Syrup

  • 100 mL (1/3 cup + 1 tbsp) olive oil
  • 250 mL (1 cup) maple syrup
  • Herbes de provence to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Choice of vegetable: bell peppers, leeks, mushrooms, onions, zucchini or asparagus

A few drops of balsamic vinegar to taste


  1. Whisk together glaze ingredients (except vegetables and balsamic vinegar)
  2. Pour over vegetables and toss
  3. Bake on a cookie sheet at 180°C (350°F) or simply fry or grill for approximately 20 minutes
  4. Before serving, brush on a few drops of balsamic vinegar
